Clockwise or back-and-forth often indicates yes; anticlockwise or side-to-side often indicates no, though this can vary between practitioners. Once calibrated, hold a clear and specific question in your mind and allow the pendulum to respond. Cleanse your pendulum regularly by placing it on a Selenite plate overnight or leaving it in moonlight.
